STARTVAC® Launching in Japan
In May 2016 Kyoritsu Seiyaku and HIPRA organized STARTVAC® launching in Japan. Events were organized in 5 different locations across Japanese islands gathering almost 600 vets and professionals. During events well- recognized international Key Opinion Leaders Paolo Moroni (US) and Andrew Bradley (UK) gave presentation about contagious and environmental mastitis with special focus on preventive measures like vaccination.

HIPRA at the Western Canadian Association of Bovine Practitioners conference with Hans Caron
HIPRA was sponsor of the 25th annual WCABP conference, held in Calgary. For the third year, HIPRA sponsored a Technical Breakfast.On this occasion the invited speaker was Hans Caron, vet practitioner from The Netherlands, who talked about the economic importance of mastitis in dairy farms. About 80 vet practitioners from Western Canada attended the lecture.

On 2 April, the HIPRA was present as gold sponsor at the 5th Annual Conference of the Portuguese Council of Udder Health (CPSU) held in Espinho (Portugal). About 50 veterinarians interested in the quality of milk were present for all over the country.

HIPRA organizes the 1st Brazilian Mastitis Expert Committee
The event hold in Campinas (Brazil) on 7th of March was a great success, with expert representatives from the most important dairy areas. The Brazilian experts returned to their home countries with a backpack full of fresh knowledge and their colleague’s experience about milk quality and mastitis prevention.

Dr. Paolo Moroni visits turkey with HIPRA
Last month of February Dr Paolo Moroni from the Quality Milk Production Service of Cornell University (US) was visiting Turkey in an action addressed to big farms with more than 1,000 milking cows willing to improve milk quality and currently using STARTVAC® as part of their mastitis control plan.
